Un beau soir d'hiver 2002, quai des Carmes, direction Huy-Liège. Je suis installé dans le siège passager de la voiture de mon ami Manu, qui nous conduit vers une nouvelle soirée dans les cafés embrumés du carré Liègeois. Avec une voix très aérienne, une basse bien en avant, un piano et une guitare légèrement saturée, "Again" atteint directement sa cible : le coeur. Dès les premières notes, je sens que je suis en passe de laisser entrer cette chanson dans mon panthéon privé de compositions favorites. (et Dieu sait si les places sont disputées) Manu est un grand amateur de Pink Floyd; et je ne suis guère étonné de le voir tapoter sur son volant en hochant la tête sur le rythme des basses. En écoutant ce boquet, on y entrevoit sans problème le fantôme du Floyd plâner tout autour... "Again" est sans aucun doute le morceau le plus connu des Anglais et le single incontournable de ce disque. C'est le genre de morceau qui peut vous emmener loin... très loin d'ici.
